Employee of the Month
Every month, we take a moment to salute two outstanding employees from the collective pool between our Brandon and Winnipeg offices. These two employees are recognized for their dedication, hard work, and commitment to customer service.
December 2010
Danny Ballance
Danny has been with the company for almost a year, walking in our door with no previous experience. Danny has made tremendous leaps since starting with Globe, going from a regular “green horn”, to a seasoned, capable mover.
On Quality Assurance Checks, Danny has received 80% on his first, and 86% on his latest.
Danny is a very reliable employee who always strives to become the perfect associate.
Brendan Brydon
Brendan started with Globe at the very start of our peak season, and had no previous experience with moving. He did, however, have extensive knowledge of operating many different vehicles, which he has put to good use during his employment with Globe.
He received 87% on the Van Operator Services test, and 88% on the Packing/Unpacking Services test.
Brendan has not received many awards from our national office yet, but it is only a matter of time until his hard work and dedication become recognized on that level, as it has been here.

Sean Walker
Sean Walker has been with Globe Moving and Storage since April of 2009, and has been an exemplary employee from his first day. Because of his previous moving experience, he hit the ground running, and he has been literally running ever since. He moves quickly and carefully and can often be seen jogging back to the truck when grabbing more items to move. This kind of work ethic can’t be taught, and is why he was the recipient of our 2010 associate of the year.
Roger Schmid
Roger has been with the company for years, operating as one of our top performing Prime Fleet drivers, servicing our customers both locally, and across Canada. With a stellar quality record, and a folder full of compliments from customers, Roger is a major asset to the team.
