There are several options for moving overseas:

  • Airfreight is an excellent option for small shipments and remote areas. It is expensive, but on the plus side, your shipment will arrive much more quickly.

  • If you are shipping a household, ocean freight is the most economical. Depending on the size of your shipment, Globe Moving will determine the size of the ocean container that is needed. Each item is wrapped in an overseas wrap, numbered, and inventoried. Only your shipment will be loaded into the container.

  • This is the most economical. Globe Moving will load your shipment into a 20 or 40 ft steamship container with other shipments. Each item is wrapped in an overseas wrap, numbered, and inventoried.

  • Globe Moving will build a crate to fit your shipment and will load everything inside the crate. All your items will be wrapped in an overseas wrap for extra protection. You pay more for this service, which gives your shipment additional protection for the ocean journey, but there may be a longer transit time.

    There are also options for the destination services in your new country depending on where your shipment is going overseas:

    Complete destination services, including assistance with customs clearance, unloading, unwrapping, unpacking & debris removal.

    DOOR ONLY

    Delivery to your overseas residence without unloading, unwrapping, or debris removal.
