Moving Canada to the USA

It starts with an in-home visit by a Globe moving consultant to determine an estimated weight for your shipment. The cost of a Canada-to-USA move is based on the weight of your shipment and the distance between your current home and your new home.

Full or partial packing services are also available on your Canada-to-USA move. The moving consultant will discuss packing options and other services you may require. Replacement Value Protection coverage is also available at an additional cost.

The moving consultant will give you a written quote confirming the estimated weight, the transportation charges, and the cost of any extra services. It will also contain the loading date and delivery timeframe. 

US Customs requirements differ if you are a returning US citizen or moving to the US on a work permit, or as a student. The moving consultant will review this with you and provide a US Customs form to fill out.
