LOCAL MOVING

Local moves are short distances, usually under 240 km (150 miles). They are priced hourly, depending on the truck size and the number of crew it will take to move your belongings in a timely and safe manner. The hourly rate starts when the truck leaves Globe Moving’s yard and finishes when they return to the yard after completing your move.

Each piece of furniture will be wrapped in quilted pads before loading on the moving truck. Upholstered items are shrink-wrapped for extra protection. 

You can purchase cargo protection to protect your items in transit. In addition, Globe Moving offers full or partial packing services for your dishes and belongings. If you are moving appliances, Globe can arrange for appliance servicing before the move. 

Payment is due upon completion of the move. The driver will estimate the time it will take to return to Globe’s yard and will calculate the final charges. Taxes are additional. Globe Moving accepts cash, bank drafts, certified cheques, or Visa and MasterCard.
